Progress Continues on Hard Rock Expansion

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa officials hosted a sneak preview of the new entertainment venue and unveiled the name and logo on May 4. David Stewart, of Cherokee Nation Entertainment, hosted the tour, which unveiled “The Joint Tulsa” name for the $20 million, 45,000-square-foot event center which will focus on musical performances and a variety of events such as boxing, mixed martial arts tournaments, comedy shows, and lecture series, according to Stewart.
Once completed this fall, the venue will seat up to 2,700 people and feature cutting edge technology, making it one of the best places to see live performances. The facility will feature theater seating, suites and lounge, concert lighting, an elevated stage, a “pit” in front of the stage that can be used for standing room or be equipped with tables.
It will also feature two 14-foot television screens flanking the stage and a retractable 25-foot screen at the center of the stage.
