PRSA Recognizes Members

The Tulsa Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America () recently held a special event to recognize all Accredited in Public Relations ()- credentialed members and the 2011 College of Fellows inductee Dana Birkes. The dinner was held at the historic Philcade Building penthouse, located at 511 S. Boston Ave., with Judith Phair, , Fellow speaking to the special guests.
“The Tulsa chapter is characterized by a history of exemplary members committed to seeking the highest standards in the practice of public relations. Over the past 60 years, our chapter has committed itself to advancing the public relations profession by providing numerous professional development opportunities for our members,” said Amber Remke, , Tulsa chapter president. “ This is especially evident in our chapter’s success rate, which is consistently well above the national average. It is an honor to recognize Tulsans who hold the and College of Fellow credentials as these are truly marks of distinction in our industry.”
Birkes will be one of only nine members to be admitted to the nationwide College of Fellows this October in Orlando, Fla.
