PSO’s Parade of Lights Slated for December 11

The 15th annual PSO Christmas “Parade of Lights” will usher in the holiday festivities with many of favorite cartoon characters who will be celebrating the holiday season “live” on the streets of downtown Tulsa.

What better way to bring out the child in everyone than to join together to watch Tulsa’s parade on December 11th at 6:00 p.m. Viewers across northeastern Oklahoma can also turn their dials to KTUL Channel 8 and watch the Tulsa parade from home.

Parade entries are certain to entertain children of all ages. Spectators will enjoy theme-based floats like “Cat in the Hat.” And no holiday parade is complete without award-winning marching bands, high-stepping equestrian units, and of coarse Santa Claus.

The holidays are a special time for children and the parade delivers a dose of the season’s magic. For more information call 583-2627 or visit the website at www.tulsadowntown.org.
