Reeves Captures UALR Title; ORU Finishes Second

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark.-Crystal Reeves (Broken Arrow, Okla.) fired a 71 during the final round of play to capture individual medalist honors at the UALR Classic while helping Oral Roberts to a second place team finish, Tuesday at Diamante Country Club.

Reeves finished the three-round tournament with an overall score of 3-under par 213 (73-69-71) to win by five strokes. It was the second victory this year for Reeves and her fourth top 10 finish in seven tournaments overall.

The Golden Eagles (894) finished one stroke behind team champion UALR after shooting 303 during the final round of the 18-team tournament.

Amber Hensley (Jenks, Okla.) enjoyed a strong showing, finishing tied for fourth after shooting 220 (72-73-75). Megan O’Connell (Odessa, Texas) tied for 29th at 229 (74-76-79).

Kylie Bollenbach finished tied for 37th at 233 (81-74-78), while Eve Santillan (Aguascaliente, Mexico) finished tied for 70th at 244 (80-82-82).
