Regal Plaza Joins ‘Buy Bixby’

HOLIDAY HOPES: A participating Buy Bixby retailer in Regal Plaza hands a customer tickets that may lead to a $10,000 grand prize.


The Buy Bixby Campaign has begun again and will provide the community with a fun way to shop for the holidays. The City of Bixby and the Bixby Chamber of Commerce teamed up to form the campaign in order to encourage holiday shopping in the community and to showcase the merchants, products and services in the area.

When purchases are made throughout the community from Nov. 9 to Dec. 20, one ticket will be given to customers for every $10 that they spend at participating businesses. One ticket will be chosen at the end of the campaign as the winner. The grand prize will be $10,000.

There are a variety of businesses that are participating in the campaign throughout the community. The campaign will focus on retail and dining merchants but non-sales tax generating businesses are finding creative ways to participate as well.

Buy Bixby positively impacts the community by increasing the sales tax collections, which helps bring services to the business and residential community.

To participate in the campaign, customers must be 18 years of age and will have a maximum of 100 tickets per purchase.

The winning ticket will be chosen by a lottery style draw Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. The individual does not have to be present to win and will have three business days to claim the prize. If the prize has not been claimed at that time, another ticket will be chosen.

Premiere sponsors of Buy Bixby include Cox, 1170 Tulsa’s Talk Radio, 98.5 and Big Country 99.5.
