If you live near Ruth Sanger Johnson or Jack Hogan and start hearing “’62 Rules!” being shouted around the beginning of June, don’t be alarmed. It’s just the Edison class of 1962 having their 45th year reunion.

Jim Miller and his fellow organizers Karen Mildren, Judy Brown, John Anderson, Gary Griffith, Brenda Haeslopp, Pat Atkinson, Gary Yeck, Denice Brice, Jim Crawford, Johnson and Hogan have been working hard to put together this year’s reunion since the middle of last year. This two-day event, taking place June 1 and 2, will feature two evenings of high-schooler fun for all classmates.

Friday night activities will include time to visit with classmates, viewing of the 44-year reunion video and pizza provided by Mazzio’s at Johnson’s home in Tulsa.

Saturday night festivities will take place at Hogan’s home in Tulsa. Miller will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the event. Food will be provided by Catering by Orr and music will feature the classic sock-hop sounds of the 50s and 60s. The reunion committee is looking forward to this fun night of teenage fun for everyone of the Edison class of 1962.

If you are a member of the class of 1962 and wish to attend the reunion, contact Jim Miller at jim.d.miller@cox.net.
