Rockies agree to terms with 11 selections from 2010 First-Year Player Draft


DENVER, Colo. – The Colorado Rockies announced Saturday that the club has agreed to terms with 11 selections from the 2010 First-Year Player Draft.

Among the players that agreed to terms with the Rockies are 2nd round pick Chad Bettis out of Texas Tech University, and 22nd round pick 1B Mark Tracy out of Duquesne University. Tracy is the youngest son of Rockies Manager Jim Tracy.

The club has agreed to terms with three of their top 10 and six of their top 20 selections. The players that have agreed to terms are: Chad Bettis (2nd round), OF Jared Simon (6th round), OF Corey Dickerson (8th round), 3B Jayson Langerfels (16th round), C Ryan Casteel (17th round), 1B Blake McDade (20th round), 1B Mark Tracy (22nd Round), Bruce Kern (23rd round), Kenneth Roberts (25th round), Blake Keitzman (27th round), 1B Jordan Ballard (33rd round).
