RSU in Pryor Opens
On Jan. 7, President Dr. Larry Rice and other Rogers State University and MidAmerica Industrial Park officials, pictured at top, celebrated, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the opening of the new -Pryor campus, 2155 Hwy 69A, located at the industrial park.
The two-story, 38,400-square-foot building was built to bolster educational opportunities for Mayes County-area residents and to further address the region’s workforce needs.
-Pryor joins Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology and Northeastern Technology Center in the industrial park. The concentration of three resident partner educational institutions makes MidAmerica one of the most unique industrial parks in the country.
Individuals pictured above also include David Stewart, chief administrative officer of the MidAmerica Industrial Park, Richard Dunning, chairman of OU Board of Regents, and Rob Gilbert, chairman of Oklahoma Ordnance Works Authority Board.
