Saying ‘I Do’ to the Tulsa Wedding Show

FASHION RUNWAY: The runway is always a popular place at the Tulsa Wedding Show.

Wedding shows are the best place to gather a lot of wedding ideas in a small amount of time. The best wedding show by far is the one Facchianos participates in on Sunday, Aug. 8, which is called The Tulsa Wedding Show.

This show has been around for 17 years and is full of many wedding vendors in all categories. The best thing to do is plan ahead by checking out the show’s website, www.thetulsaweddingshow.com, to see the exhibitors, show times and fashion show times. Also arrive early. The attendance is growing every year so there will be a long line at the registration desk.

Better yet, you can pre-register on the website and you can get more chances at winning prizes. The Wedding Show starts at 12 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Facchianos fashion show at the event starts at 3 p.m., so be sure to arrive early and get a good seat.

We will also have bachelorette veils for sale, so make sure to stop at our booth so you can look like the bride. There are a lot of things to do and see at the wedding show, and a lot of prizes to win. There are door prizes and a grand prize. We have had lots of brides that were winners of the grand prize in the past.

When you go to the show make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Your feet will love you for it, and you will love me for telling you. Also have your list of things you still need for the wedding. When you get there and get the program, check and see vendors that you would like to visit with and where they are located. The show will be packed so I suggest you visit the booths that interest you the most. You can make appointments and book vendors right there at the show, so I would recommend you bring the wedding checkbook in case the vendor’s dates are booking quickly.

Another great thing about the wedding show of course is the food. Who doesn’t like tasting all the delicacies from the caterers and bakeries? I sure do!

My favorite thing of course is the fashion show. I love to see all the fashions on the runway. The fashion show draws a lot of people, and it is obviously most bride’s favorite part of the wedding show.

I also love the table settings, which give brides great ideas on what colors are in style and what you should do with your tables at the reception. My friend Gwen from Dress a Chair is always one of my favorite tables to see at the show. She does rental centerpieces as well.

The best thing to do is visit the vendors you need and set up an appointment to visit them after the show so you can really get more information to see if they are what you want for your wedding.
