Scott Stapp of Creed is coming to Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. – Creed frontman Scott Stapp is set to play a special solo acoustic performance on Dec. 3 at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
Tickets start at $30 and go on sale on Oct. 21.
Stapp’s set list will include stripped down versions of Creed’s biggest hits and numerous songs from his solo career.
As the lead singer of Creed, Stapp and his bandmates released three multi-platinum albums in the late 90s and early 2000s that have sold more than 26 million records. Creed won a grammy for the single “With Arms Wide Open,” and Billboard ranked the band No. 18 from 2000-2010.
To date, Creed has charted 11 songs in the top 5 of the Billboard US Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks, including the No. 1 hits “What’s This Life For,” “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open” and “My Sacrifice.”
After breaking up in 2004, Creed reunited in 2009 with the release of “Full Circle” and a world-wide tour.
In 2005, Stapp released his first solo effort, “The Great Divide,” which peaked at No. 19 on Billboard’s Top 200 and went double platinum. His second solo album is slated for a 2011 release.
The Joint holds 2,700 guests and features three levels of elevated, fixed seating, nine private suites and cutting-edge technology in sound, lighting and video.
