Junior Achievement of Eastern Oklahoma, Inc. Seventh Annual JA Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 13, at Cedar Ridge Country Club, 10302 S. Garnett Rd.

The JA Classic is one of the premier charity golf tournaments in the Tulsa area. The proceeds from the four-person scramble tournament will allow JA to serve over 34,000 Tulsa area students, during the 2008-09 school year.

Individual playing spots are $250 with team entries encouraged at $1,000 per team. Non-player sponsorships are still available. Entry in the four-person scramble includes snacks, beverages, a buffet lunch, a round of golf, and a brief awards reception with snacks following play.

The afternoon flight is full, so a morning flight has been added. The range will open at 7 a.m. with a shotgun tee time of 8:30 a.m. followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m.

Tournament sponsorships are still available at many levels and provide companies with a unique client/colleague networking and entertainment opportunity.

Prizes will be awarded for top teams along with a silent auction of golf and non-golf related items, plus there is a $10,000 Hole in One prize. Other prizes include Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin.

Contact Martha Rongey, JA special events manager at 663-2132 or by email at martha@jatulsa.org to enter.
