Shirley Jones Visits Claremore
Broadway, movie and television entertainer Shirley Jones was in Claremore May 2 for the Claremore Wall of Fame induction of Laurie Williams, who was the heroine of the play and movie “Oklahoma.”
Jones played Williams in the movie and play. With her at the reception after the induction is Wayne McCombs, executive director, J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum.
