Shops of Seville a Success

Ray Biery started plans back in the 1990s to build a shopping area that would be up to the standards of the residents of south Tulsa, especially to those living in the vicinity of 101st Street and Yale Avenue.
By 1997 he had realized that dream when his Shops of Seville shopping center was opened at 101st and Yale, much to the delight of the residents of the area.
Biery carefully planned every detail in the center, which features beautiful Mediterranean architecture, allowing the shops to stand out as a community within a community. It has become one of the most respected shopping destinations in the area.
Most of the original businesses in the Shop of Seville remain with the valued support of loyal customers, including Donna’s Fashions, Spiffy Cleaners, Java Dave’s Coffee, Roberts Fine Interiors, the Bistro, State Farm and .
As the center has grown, new businesses have been added, including Sarah’s Tailor Shop, Hunter Construction, Canterbury Lane Gifts and Interiors, Kate 918, Enrique’s Salon, Dynamic Audio, Raymond James Financial, U-Build-It, Charter Mortgage Co. and Prudential Detrick. The Winbury Group, Biery’s company, also offices there.
One of the most respected dentists in the nation, Dr. Kevin Winters, recently decided to open his office in the Shops of Seville. This office offers the latest in patient care and takes pride in the new location.
The South Neighborhood also is located at the Shops of Seville. The brings a healthy option to the diversity of the shopping area.
The Shops of Seville has been very successful over the last 12 years. “We’ve been successful because of our great neighbors and great customers and because we offer those great neighbors and customers a variety of quality and upscale shopping and services,” explains Biery. “We are here for the long haul.”
