Slim Chickens Opens in Owasso, Holds Ribbon Cutting

GRAND OPENING: Members of the Owasso Chamber of Commerce and staff from Slim Chickens get ready to cut the ribbon for its official opening in Owasso.

Slim Chickens, a leader in the “better chicken” segment of fast-casual restaurants, celebrated its recently opened Owasso store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8712 N. Garnett Road.
The ribbon-cutting event marked the beginning of Slim Chickens’ round-up campaign, in which all Oklahoma restaurants will be participating in through the end of September. Customers will have the opportunity to round up their bill to the next dollar to benefit Make-A-Wish Oklahoma.
Since its founding in 2003, Slim Chickens has celebrated more than 90 openings in 14 U.S. states and international markets, with an overall goal of opening 600 restaurants by 2025. This is the eighth Slim Chickens location in Oklahoma and the brand plans to expand its footprint within the Mid-South region of the U.S. throughout the next several years.
