TPi HOSPITALITY: The May Tulsa Metro Chamber Small Business Council Steering Committee meeting was hosted by Ray Thomas, president and CEO of TPi Billing Solutions. TPi Billing Solutions is a family owned and operated company initially established by Roy E. Thomas and Don Thomas in the mid-1960s. TPi Billing Solutions’ original mission was to meet the billing needs of rural telephone companies in Oklahoma and Arkansas.TPi operates an office in Austin, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout the 1990s, TPi continued its growth through earning larger business contracts, including national accounts. Success in obtaining those contracts has fueled TPi’s dramatic growth from 12 to nearly 70 employees today with a geographic distribution across 44 states. TPi has since expanded to serve the medical and financial services industries, as well as offer solutions to utilities providers and non-profit organizations. Ray Thomas’s daughter, Tracy Thomas-Bolding, serves as Chief Financial Officer. Rik Thomas, Ray’s son, came on board in 2003 to open and operate the Atlanta office.
