Spartan College of Aeronautics Hosts Open House

FLYING : Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology held a recent open house at the Jones Riverside Airport in Jenks. In attendance were Damon Bowling, director of advertising and marketing for Spartan, Barbara Bartels, Mac Mullings, radio personality with Rock 103.3, James Marek and Nina Sangh. At right, individuals train in a flight simulator. Spartan has been training pilots and aviation technicians since 1928.
With more than 90,000 graduates, Spartan offers diploma programs and associate bachelor degrees. The United States Air Force recently chose Spartan as its aeronautical school partner for the Coalition Air Force. In addition, the Aviation Maintenance Technology programs at Spartan are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration ().
