Special Needs Trust Set up for Former TU Baseball Coach
Tulsa, Oklahoma –– On Christmas Day, former University Tulsa baseball Coach Gene Shell and his wife Frances experienced an accidental house fire that caused major damage and devastation to their Tulsa home. The couple escaped without injury, however, their home suffered major fire damage and is in a state of unlivable conditions.
A special assistance fund has been established at AVB Bank in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, to help support Coach Shell and his wife during their time of need.
Gene Shell led the Golden Hurricane baseball program to more than 400 victories, seven consecutive Missouri Valley Conference titles, several NCAA District 5 appearances and College World Series appearances in 1969 and 1971, taking second and third-place, respectively.
The following Declaration of Trust has been established to receive financial contributions using the following methods: Checks, cash, money orders and wire transfers.
These should all be made payable to, “Gene and Frances Shell Special Needs Trust.”
