Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run Set
TULSA, Okla. – The 2010 Law Enforcement Torch Run will take place Wednesday May 12th beginning at 6:30 a.m. The Tulsa County Law Enforcement community will have several representatives who will meet at 6th and Main Street in downtown Tulsa to start the run.
Members of the Tulsa Police Department, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office will carry the torch from 6th and Main Street through Tulsa and pass it off to Sand Springs at 81st West Avenue. The torch will continue its trip all the way to Stillwater, OK and will be presented in the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics State Summer Games at 6:30PM inside Gallagher Iba Arena.
