State Lawmakers Visit Tulsa City Council

Tulsa city councilors met with state representatives during a special meeting held on April 13 to discuss upcoming legislation and how it may affect the City of Tulsa.
District 5 Councilor Karen Gilbert, in the photo at right, requested the meeting. Council Chair G.T. Bynum, also in the photo, says this meeting was another example of council collaboration as they work for the betterment of Tulsa. “This was a good opportunity for us to better understand the challenges our colleagues in the state legislature face,” says Bynum.
