State Champions

TULSA SOCCER CLUB: The nationally-ranked Tulsa Soccer Club U-14 boys won their third consecutive State Championship on May 28 by defeating the ESC Royals of Edmond 4-0. Led by a stingy defense that didn’t yield a goal, the TSC team advances to the Region III playoffs in Dallas in late June. Next came a late goal from striker Jon Wright. The final goal was a volley from Byron Dale assisted with a perfect cross from Jenks’ Juan Sanchez. Tulsa Soccer Club U-14, coached by Doug Wren, is ranked sixth in the US by National Soccer Ranking.com and first in Region III.
