St. John Hosts Street Party Benefit for New Stroke Center

Approximately 1,800 people hit the streets of St. John Medical Center on Saturday night for one of Tulsa’s largest fundraising celebrations of the year. Patrons danced the night away to sounds of the Mid-Life Crisis Band, while enjoying food and beverages from nearly 60 of Tulsa’s top restaurants and caterers.

Hosted by the St. John Community Liaison Board, the event benefited the St. John Stroke Center, which is scheduled to open this fall. Sister M. Therese Gottschalk, St. John Health System president and CEO, St. John Stroke Center co-medical directors Patrick Han, MD and Anna Wanahita, M.D., as well as St. John Stroke Center honorary medical advisor Philip Kistler, MD, were on hand to celebrate the new addition of specialized stroke and neurological capabilities to St. John Health System’s renowned medical services.
