Students Gain Knowledge at Tulsa College Network

WARM WELCOME: Representatives from local colleges, including OSU-Tulsa, NSU Broken Arrow, OU-Tulsa, Langston, Rogers State and Tulsa Technology Center were on hand Dec. 5 to give prospective students information about their schools at the Tulsa College Network.

Tulsa Community College recently hosted Tulsa College Network at the Northeast Campus.

Tulsa College Network showed students how easy it is to stay close to home, keep their job, be with friends, go to a public college and do it all for less. The event covered topics such as college life in Tulsa, transfer opportunities, financial aid and admissions.

“This event tends to pique the interest of not only potential students, but also their parents who want to go back to college,” said Trevor Lane, TCC Student Recruitment manager.

Representatives from TCC, OSU Tulsa, NSU Broken Arrow, OU Tulsa, Langston University, Rogers State University and Tulsa Technology Center were there to give students descriptions on their schools and what they have to offer.

TCC staff was also on hand to assist students who qualify for the Tulsa Achieves scholarship, as well as those who qualify for other financial aid.
