SummerStage is an eight-week performing arts festival held during June and July in the Tulsa Performing Arts Center?s John H. Williams Theatre, Liddy Doenges Theatre and Charles E. Norman Theatre. Performances include a variety of disciplines from musicals, drama, comedy and dance to cabaret theatre events.

Performers this year include members of the Red Dirt Rangers, Light Opera Oklahoma, members of the Greenwood Cultural Center, the Ancient Dreams Orchestra, the Resonance Center for Women, Bradini Magic Productions and many more.

Shows range from the ever-familiar My Fair Lady to a Chet Baker Tribute to the Clark Teen Laughing Matter Improv. The full schedule is available at Tulsa Trust.

SummerStage provides local arts groups and individual artists the opportunity to work together in forming a showcase of artists from Tulsa and the surrounding communities. The result is a cohesive, colorful, balanced, diverse and high-energy festival that culminates in a unique departure from main season arts events and one that offers something for everyone.

The Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust is the presenting sponsor of the Festival providing free rent, security and administrative support to all participants.
Sponsors for this year?s SummerStage include the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust, Public Radio Tulsa, the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Garage Media, JD Young, MyTicketOffice.com, the George Kaiser Foundation and Third Floor Design.

SummerStage would like you to become a sponsor. You may join the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust in continuing to grow Tulsa?s gifted performing arts culture and in helping Tulsans become leaders in the arts.

Financial sponsorship is applied to numerous marketing projects, educational workshops and media to benefit participants beyond the festival. Visit www.tulsapactrust.org for a downloadable sponsorship guide.

Applications and guidelines for SS2010 will be accessible at Tulsa Trust Aug. 15, 2009 with a deadline of Dec. 1, 2009. For More Information: 596-7111.
