A new national report published in Community College Week has ranked Tulsa Community College among the top 25 colleges in the nation for number of graduates and shows to be second in the nation for graduation of education students. has consistently ranked among the top 3 percent of all U.S. community colleges in the past decade.
In addition to claiming the 24th ranking by awarding 2011 degrees during the 2007-2008 school year, climbed to the top of the list for the number of business and marketing degrees awards (13th) and the number of education degrees awarded (2nd). Business degrees were up 8 percent from the previous year while education degrees increased by 6 percent. also ranked in the top 25 percent nationally in the number of communication and journalism degrees awarded.
For the past several years, has ranked second in the nation in the number of Native American students who graduate from a community college. The trend continued during the 2007-2008 school year.
