TCC WORKS: On May 13, Tulsa voters will decide if a $76 million bond and millage issue will pass, benefiting Tulsa Community College. Funds will be used to improve facilities at all four campuses, expand programs and services, increase access for all students, enhance training for police and fire personnel and increase the number of highly-trained graduates for Tulsa-area employers. From left, TCC student Anna Prieto, former TCC student and Accounts Manager for Microsoft Lisa Palmer and TCC President and CEO Dr. Tom McKeon spoke at the campaign kick-off held April 30 at State Farm Headquarters. Other speakers included Oklahoma Public Affairs Director at State Farm John Wiscarver, Owasso City Manager Rodney Ray and Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor.
