TFA Recognizes Three Tulsans

The Tulsa Foundation for Architecture recognized the lasting contributions of the three special groups and individuals to Tulsa’s built environment at the Fourth Annual Foundation Awards ceremony.

The Foundation Lifetime Achievement was awarded to the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, represented by Alana Hughes, Director of Administration. The Lifetime Achievement Memorial Recognition Award went to Donald McCormick, FAIA, and was accepted in his memory by his daughter Sylvia McCormick Spilman. The Foundation Landmark award was presented to the Public Service Company of Oklahoma Headquarters Building, formerly Central High School. Stuart Solomon, PSO president and chief operating officer, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The presenting sponsor for the awards was the Public Service Company of Oklahoma. Additional sponsors and supporters included the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa, Tulsa Metro Chamber, Wallace Engineering Structural Consultants, Citizens Security Bank and Trust Co., John Brooks Walton, Walsh Associates and Flintco, Inc.
