On Saturday, January 15, 2005, sponsors and guests will enter a whole new world filled with magic lamps, magic carpets, and genies all to benefit the Parent Child Center. Toyland Ball 2005 Chairman Susan Starling and Honorary Chairman Pete Churchwell invite guests to stroll through the “palace” at the Downtown Doubletree Hotel that will be filled with exotic live and silent auctions items-including the work of art created just for the evening by featured artist Rosemary Daugherty. Guests can feast on exquisite cuisine created by the Doubletree Downtown Hotel’s Executive Chef Michael J. Campbell, and dance the night away to the music of Dave and the Wavetones.
Sponsors will also be invited to the “Genie Jamboree” on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at the Doubletree Hotel. The Jamboree will be a fun afternoon for the entire family filled with activities for kids and delicious food.
At the Toyland Ball, the Parent Child Center will present Terri Heritage with the Guardian Angel Award in honor of her long-time support of the Parent Child Center and ongoing advocacy for children.
Sponsorships are available at all levels starting at $500. For more information, contact Special Event Coordinator Kami Jones at 699-0529.
