TU Engages in Cultural Exchange

The University of Tulsa, Gilcrease Museum and Daming Palace Academy from Shannxi, China recently signed an agreement to create a cultural and educational exchange between TU and the Academy.
The Daming Palace Academy Heritage Park is a $1.76 billion project to preserve the imperial palace of the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
Representatives from the Academy visited with Gov. Brad Henry, Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chad Smith, Secretary of State Susan Savage, and Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett over their eight-day visit.
