The new Ad Program at The University of Tulsa, in conjunction with the Tulsa Advertising Federation, Public Relations Society of America, American Women in Radio and Television and the Art Directors Club of Tulsa, have scheduled a collaborative tailgate party for the TU/New Mexico football game, Saturday, Sept. 20 from 3-6 p.m.
The event is for students enrolled in the Ad Program along with members of the participating Tulsa advertising professional organizations. Students are encouraged to combine fun with the opportunity to network with professionals in the industry. Hot dogs, brats and side dishes will be furnished free of charge to all attending students.
“This type of social event is what the Ad Program at TU will continue to do,” says Bill Hinkle, adjunct professor of advertising. It’s vitally important our students have multiple opportunities to “meet and greet” the right people in the industry and I can’t think of a more fun one than celebrating the opening of the newly renovated Chapman Stadium. I expect a huge turnout from both the student sector and the industry professionals.”
