The University of Tulsa is taking the excitement of Golden Hurricane athletics on the road this summer to four communities in Oklahoma.

The “TU Road Show 2006” presents a great opportunity for Oklahomans to get an inside look at Tulsa athletics. Headlining the Road Show will be TU Head Football Coach Steve Kragthorpe and members of the Hurricane football coaching staff, as well as Athletics Director Bubba Cunningham. Other TU coaches, administrators and student-athletes will also be present.

The Road Show will kick-off in Muskogee with a June 27 event at the Muskogee Country Club. Additional stops on the Road Show tour will include Jenks at the Best Western Aquarium, Owasso at the Old Central Building and in Oklahoma City at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. The events are open to the public. Reservations are required for the Oklahoma City event by calling (800) 219-4688 or (918) 631-2555.

“We’re excited to go into these Oklahoma communities to meet with alumni, fans and other Oklahomans interested in finding out more about TU athletics,” says Cunningham. “We have an outstanding team and staff at the University of Tulsa, and these events give us an opportunity to talk about TU athletics and thank Golden Hurricane fans for their continued support.”
