Tulsa Athletics to Hold Open Soccer Tryouts
The Tulsa Athletics of the National Premier Soccer League () and its ownership are excited to announce open tryouts for the 2014 season.
The Athletics are preparing for their second season following their successful 2013 inaugural campaign. As the #1 franchise in the for attendance, averaging 3,283 fans per game, they expect to grow this year, especially with 2014 being a World Cup year. Last year the Athletics were champions of their division and one of the most exciting teams to watch in all of the .
The Tulsa Athletics are looking for talent throughout the local soccer community. The Athletics would like to see eager soccer players that want to advance their game to the next level. Open tryouts will take place March 1st and 2nd at noon, check-in will begin at 11:00am, at the Union Soccer Complex located at 3801 South 136th East Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74134. Registration is available on Tulsa Athletics website for $35 or $40 at the door.
Each trialist will receive a tryout shirt and must bring appropriate soccer gear. If selected, the player must be prepared to travel with the team to San Antonio on March 15th and 16th for preseason matches against Corinthians FC SA of the and the San Antonio Scorpions of the .
