Tulsa County to Rededicate, Rename Annex Building to Honor the Late Carol Crowson
TULSA, Okla. (October 14, 2010) – Tulsa County will rededicate its facility at 633 West 3rd Street, Tulsa at a ceremony in honor of the late Carol Crowson Friday, October 15, 2010.
The Tulsa County Annex Building will be officially renamed the Carol Crowson Annex Building. The building houses several Tulsa County departments including Human Resources, Administrative Services, Information Technology, and County Inspections.
The late Carol Crowson worked for a majority of her career in the building. She served as the benefits manager for the Tulsa County Human Resources Department.
A majority of the funds used for new signage was donated by Tulsa County employees in honor of Carol Crowson.
“Our employees chose to donate funds to this effort,” said Commissioner Karen Keith. “Carol was such an advocate and made such an impact on the lives of our employees – it just seems right to honor her memory this way.”
