Tulsa Names Football Video Coordinator
Tulsa, Oklahoma –– University of Tulsa Head Football Coach Bill Blankenship announced today the appointment of D.J. Welte as the Golden Hurricane football video coordinator.
Welte has six years experience at three different school’s handling the coordination of football video services.
Welte comes to Tulsa from Ball State University, where he spent the past four seasons as the Video and Technology Coordinator for football. Previously, Welte spent one season as the football video coordinator at Louisiana Tech. Before that, he was the video coordinator for football at Arkansas State for one season.
He spent six years as a student video assistant for football at Arkansas State, while earning his bachelor’s degree in radio/television.
