Tulsa’s Jordan Clarkson Earns All-C-USA Honors

University of Tulsa sophomore guard Jordan Clarkson was named to the preseason all-Conference basketball second team as selected by the C- coaches recently.
Clarkson, a 6’4” sophomore from San Antonio, Tex., was named to the C- all-freshman team a year ago after averaging 11.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists as a true freshman. He was selected as the C- Freshman of the Week four times last season.
He ranked third on the team in scoring average and his 310 total points is the third-most points for a freshman in school history. Clarkson shot 43 percent from the field, 30 percent from three-point range and 79 percent from the free throw line in 2010-11, while scoring in double-figures 16 times.
Clarkson played in 27 games, missing five contests with an injury, and started nine games in helping the Hurricane post a 19-13 record and finish second in Conference .
Tulsa opens its regular season Nov. 11 against .
