Tulsa Tough Hosts Annual Event, Brands Team

The fourth annual Tulsa Tough Ride and Race has attracted national attention from the racing community. The event?s popularity has even encouraged a local cycling club, formerly known as the Tulsa Wheelmen, to rebrand as Tulsa Tough and promote the city and event throughout the region and nation.
Tulsa Tough is not just about a bike race. Tulsa Tough is a cycling festival that promotes a healthy lifestyle through community building and strengthening families. The event is ?centered on health, fitness and sport. It is not a tough man contest? says Mike Dodson, Tulsa Sports Commission executive director.
The weekend-long event is gaining momentum and growing every year. Tulsa Tough is the ninth-ranked cycling event in the United States and this year?s registration numbers were the best so far.
