The Tulsa Boat, Sport & Travel Show announced recently that Randy Price of Henryetta won an 18-foot Sea Ray Sport Boat and trailer through a boat giveaway at the 2005 Tulsa Boat, Sport & Travel Show.

“This is the best boat I’ve ever had,” Price said. “It’s an awesome boat.”

Price entered a sweepstakes courtesy of Sea Ray, Port Arrowhead and Mercury MerCruiser at the 2005 Boat, Sport & Travel Show. His name was recently drawn as the winner of the $20,000 boat.

“We wanted to do this to show our appreciation for those who came out to the Boat Show,” said Phil Keeter, president of the show. “I can’t think of a better way to do that than by giving away a free boat.”

One of the largest shows of its kind in the country, the 2005 Boat Show featured exhibits on motor homes, canoes, fishing boats, pontoons, runabouts, sail boats, boat engines, house boats, cruisers, boat docks, trucks, recreational vehicles, tent campers, trailers, camping and fishing gear, water and snow skiing equipment, personal watercraft, camping resorts, travel destinations, lodges and more. In addition, the show conducted a series of free seminars led by experts in the fishing and boating industries.

Plans are underway for the 50th Anniversary of the Boat Show in 2006, which will run from Jan. 30 through Feb. 5.
