Tulsa Mayfest Invites Youth Art to Gallery
Tulsa International Mayfest 2005, presented by MidFirst Bank, is May 19-22 in Downtown Tulsa.
The Mayfest Youth Art Gallery will be co-sponsored by Public Service Company of Oklahoma and The Hille Foundation.
Students are invited to enter the festival’s 2005 Youth Gallery. All entries must be delivered to the Mayfest office, 321 South Boston, Suite 101 on Wednesday, April 27, between 4:30 and 7 p.m.
The Mayfest Youth Gallery proudly displays art from the talented students of Tulsa County schools. The Youth Gallery will once again be located in the Performing Arts Center LaFortune Studio in the heart of the festival. Local artists will judge all works. One entry per student is allowed and must by an original piece produced by the artist. Work that has been produced with commercial kits, prefabricated forms or other commercial methods, is not allowed. Each entry must have been completed within the current school year.
Mayfest historically has been one of the top events in the area.
