Tulsan Takes a Strike at World Record


On Saturday, April 24, Tulsan and former Golden Glove Boxer, Brian Bryan will attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records by breaking 487 boards in one minute. The event will be held at noon at 14 W. Dawes in conjunction with the Grand Opening of Bryan’s new Combat Team Headquarters located at the above address in Bixby. The Mayor of Bixby, Ray Bowen, will be cutting the ribbon at the ceremony immediately following the world record attempt.  

This event is open to the public. There will also be food and music and inflatables for the kids.

ABOUT BRIAN BRYAN:  

Brian Bryan actionBryan started boxing at age 15 and moved on to karate at the age of 22. Now 20 years later he is the founder, CEO and chief instructor of the Combat Zone Karate Schools and the Combat Team Demonstration Group. He holds a 8th degree black belt in American Tangsoodo Taekwondo and a 6th degree in American Aikijujitsu, was a Florida Caribbean Golden Glove Boxer and a five-time martial arts champion.
