Tulsa Pro Baseball Calendar Celebrates 100 Years of Fun
TULSA BASEBALL CALENDAR
Tulsa baseball historian Wayne McCombs has compiled and edited a unique Tulsa Baseball Calendar, which features significant photos and information of the past 100 years of professional baseball in Tulsa. The calendar includes copies of baseball cards of players who have played in Tulsa, Tulsa baseball park locations, major league affiliates and resulting records, photos of personalities such as Roy Clark, the great home run hitter of the 1920s Lyman Lamb, Hank Blalock, Dizzy Dean, Warren Spahn, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, and Sammy Sosa. Photos of Tulsa media members over the years are also included. Each date in the calendar lists information about Tulsa baseball history.
