Union Names Site Teachers of the Year

Union Public Schools has announced its 2019-2020 School Site Teachers of the Year. The District Teacher of the Year will be announced during a formal reception this winter at the Union Performing Arts Center at Union High School, 6636 S. Mingo Road.
Being named Teacher of the Year is one of the highest honors a teacher can receive at Union. All of the school site Teachers of the Year will be honored during the winter reception. Teachers were selected by their peers earlier this year so they could be recognized during an upcoming football game.
The Site Teachers of the Year are: Andersen Elementary – Alisa Lee, Physical Education; Boevers Elementary – Megan Nigam, Kindergarten; Cedar Ridge Elementary – Kim Strom, Counselor;
Roy Clark Elementary – Rebecca King, 5th Grade; Darnaby Elementary – Tara Miller, Reading Specialist; Grove Elementary – Jeri Potter, Reading Specialist; Jarman Elementary – Lacey Dake, 4th Grade;
Jefferson Elementary – Victoria Olsen, Media Specialist; McAuliffe Elementary – Mary Murray, 2nd Grade; Moore Elementary – Merry Lahti, 4th Grade; Ellen Ochoa Elementary – Angela Eakes, 2nd Grade;
