Union Helps United Way

ADMINISTRATOR: Union High School graduate Emily Warren is the new assistant athletic director to Bill Blankenship. A former Union basketball player, Warren plans a career in athletic administration.

Union Public Schools has raised more than $113,000 for the United Way this year, the largest donation of its kind in Union’s history.

Contributions come from payroll deductions, one-time gifts and fund-raising events sponsored at the school sites.

Collins said the increase is about a 10 percent increase over last year and includes $31,668 in Key Club donations, individual donations amounting to more than $500.
