United Way Reaches 2008 Goal
The Tulsa Area United Way celebrated the official end of its 2008 campaign Nov. 11 by projecting that it will exceed this year’s campaign goal of $23.9 million.
Celebrating the event in the top photo are, from left, Bill Grant (President Of The Holmes Organisation and 2008 Campaign Chair), Derk Tenzythoff (TAUW), Mark Graham (President of TAUW) and Ron King (retired, past Campaign Chair).
In addition, The Holmes Organisation had 100 percent participation from employees. Mike Ziegenhorn, in the barber’s chair, raised the most for the United Way Campaign, which got him the prize of having his head shaved.
During the head shaving he raised $1,000 more for cutting off an additional two inches. Looking on is Holmes President and Campaign Chair Bill Grant.
