U.S. Cellular’s Speed Text Challenge coming to Tulsa and surrounding cities
TULSA, Okla. – If typing eight perfect sentences as fast as you can in 45 seconds for $10,000 sounds easy, then the Tulsa area is the place to be.
U.S. Cellular is bringing its Speed Text Challenge to Tulsa, Owasso, Claremore and Bartlesville beginning Friday, June 4. The fastest texter from the nationwide tour will win $10,000. The second through fifth place texters will receive $500 gift cards. Participants will compete individually or head-to-head using an Touch Pro 2 handset. Contestants are awarded points on how quickly they complete challenge rounds. Rankings will be posted every Wednesday and Friday at www.uscellular.com/speedtext.
The U.S. Cellular $10,000 Speed Text Challenge is free and open to everyone. In addition to the speed text station, customers at ONEOK Field events can also have their picture taken using a U.S. Cellular handset, and can charge their cell phone battery. U.S. Cellular customers can swap out a dead or dying battery for a fully-charged one for free through the company’s Battery Swap program.
