U.S. Cellular to Offer Free Device Workshop at its Owasso Location
With a recent study showing a nearly 80 percent increase in smart phone shipments from a year ago, there are plenty of first-time smart phone users who may want a little help figuring out everything their advanced phones have to offer. U.S. Cellular recently hosted a free workshop at its Owasso retail store at 9046 N. 121st E. Ave. to guide customers through all of the functions and features of their BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Android-powered smart phones.
Associates answered questions and demonstrated common features such as e-mail access, Web browsing, calendar synchronization and browsing for apps. Attendees also learned details about the benefits of The Belief Project, U.S. Cellular’s array of innovative initiatives like “no contract after the first” with automatic upgrades to the newest phones at promotional prices every 18 months. Just for being a customer, U.S. Cellular gives valuable rewards to use for phone upgrades in as little as 10 months as well as additional lines, phones, accessories and ringtones.
Several of the new value-packed rate plans are a perfect fit for smart phone users. The recently launched Primary Plus Plan offers 5GB of data with unlimited text, picture and video messaging and free Navigation. The monthly service plan also comes with 450 voice minutes with free incoming calls, free nights and weekends and free mobile-to-mobile calls.

The Device Workshops were open to current smart phone owners, as well as those interested in upgrading to a smart phone.
