Utica Park Clinic Welcomes New Providers


OB/GYN Corey Babb, DO, has joined Utica Park Clinic on the campus of Hillcrest Hospital South, 8803 S. 101st East Ave., Suite 220.

Dr. Babb specializes in alternative childbirth in a hospital setting, including alternative birthing positions, osteopathic manipulation and aromatherapy.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Denison University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at the University of Oklahoma and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Michael Iten, PA-C, specializing in family medicine, has joined Broken Arrow North, 1551 N. 9th St.

Iten earned his Bachelor of Science degree as well as his Master of Science degree in the Physician Assistant program from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine.

He has served as an infantry combat medic for the U.S. Army National Guard since 2003. He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants.

General Surgeon Benjamin Kamp, DO, recently joined Utica Park Clinic on the campus of Hillcrest Hospital South, Suite 320, and in Okmulgee, in the Pine Medical Center Building, 1101 S. Belmont Ave., Suite 105.

Dr. Kamp earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Vanderbilt University. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in 2005 and completed his internship at St. Anthony’s Hospital in 2006. He completed his general surgery residency at Michigan State University, Botsford Hospital in 2010.

Utica Park Clinic Medical Oncology recently announced the addition of Supriya Koya, MD, board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. Dr. Koya will be practicing at 1809 East 13th Street, Suite 402.

She earned her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2007 and completed her hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Dr. Koya is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American Academy of Cancer Research, Oklahoma State Cancer Society and Oklahoma State Medical Association.

Monique Modest-McKoy, MD, has joined Utica Park Clinic OB/GYN, located in the Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center at Hillcrest Medical Center.

Dr. Modest-McKoy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Claflin University and her Master of Science degree at Barry University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2009 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2013.

Utica Park Clinic welcomes Orthopedic Surgeon Jon E. Orjala, DO, to the Bailey Medical Center, 10512 N. 110th East Ave., in Owasso. Dr. Orjala has been serving the Owasso community since 1996.

Dr. Orjala earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Point Loma College and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences. He completed his general medical internship at Deaconess Medical Center and his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City.

He is fluent in German and Haitian Creole with knowledge of French and Spanish. He has performed more than 10,000 arthroscopic procedures, including more than 9,000 knee and elbow procedures. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.

John Owens, DO, recently joined Utica Park Clinic in Pryor. His office is located at 562 South Elliott. Dr. Owens is board certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment.

Dr. Owens earned his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at St. Anthony Hospital and residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center/A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Owens is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Physicians and Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.

Bernard Robinowitz, MD, a board-certified dermatologist who has been serving Oklahomans since 1975, is now practicing at 8803 South 101st East Avenue, Suite 335.

Dr. Robinowitz earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Brown University and his medical degree from Tulane University. He completed his internship and internal medicine residency at New York University and Bellevue Hospital. He completed his dermatology residency at the Cleveland Clinic.

He is a clinical associate professor at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa and a past president of the Oklahoma State Dermatological Society. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology and the Oklahoma State Dermatological Society.

Board-Certified Physician Assistant Christina Schafer, PA-C, has joined Utica Park Clinic on the campus of Hillcrest Hospital South at 9001 S. 101st East Ave., Suite 270. She currently practices family medicine and has experience in urgent care, neurosurgery and emergency care.

Schafer earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern State University and her Master of Health Science Physician Associate degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants.

Utica Park Clinic welcomes Sam Stauffer, DO, to its new location in Oologah.

Dr. Stauffer, a board certified family medicine physician, has provided care to the Oologah community since 1981.

Dr. Stauffer earned his Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy in 1976. He received his medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1980. Dr. Stauffer completed his family medicine internship at Tulsa Regional Medical Center (now Medical Center) in 1981. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Stauffer is welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans. His office is located at 485 S. Elm (Highway 169) in Oologah.

Brandon Wilson, DO, is now practicing with Utica Park Clinic at Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center at Hillcrest Medical Center. Dr. Wilson received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in 2013.
