Utica Square Concert Series is Popular

NICE EVENING: Visitors to Utica Square’s Summer’s 5th Night enjoy the music and the company of companions during the Thursday evening events. Many attendees bring picnic baskets, tables and chairs and sit under trees, while others bring their chairs and sit as close to the stage as possible. It all makes for a great summer evening in a beautiful setting.
Summer’s 5th Night, Tulsa’s favorite free outdoor concert series, is underway every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. through August 25 at Utica Square. Summer’s 5th Night serves up everything from jazz to rock to country.
Utica Square Property Manager Joanie Harrington said this outdoor concert series, now in its 13th season, is a great way for Tulsan’s to celebrate summer. “People of all ages can enjoy their favorite local bands in the relaxed and beautiful atmosphere of Utica Square. They can pack a picnic or dine at one of our ten great restaurants while they unwind, listen to live music and catch up with family and friends.”
Harrington said you also can win great prizes, like Utica Square gift certificates and merchandise from Utica Square merchants.
“Summer’s 5th Night has become a Tulsa tradition,” she said. “It’s just one of the ways we like to give back to our customers and the community.”
The Utica Square Merchant Association sponsors Summer’s 5th Night. Utica Square is located south of downtown Tulsa at 21st and Utica. To learn more about Utica Square merchants or events, visit www.uticasquare.com and see why we call it “Tulsa’s Special Place for Over 50 Years.”
