Weather Forces Estimated Bills For Some PSO Customers

TULSA, Okla., February 3, 2011 – With this week’s record snowfall and continued
extreme weather conditions, meter readers have not been able to read their regular routes and as a result, approximately one quarter of PSO’s customers’ next bill will be estimated.

“Except for some locations in far southeast Oklahoma, roads all across PSO’s
service area have been treacherous, at best, and in many cases, completely impassable since Tuesday,” said Bobby Mouser, director of customer services and marketing.

“It’s a rarity that our meter readers are not able to get out to read their routes and we’re hopeful conditions will improve enough to resume reading meters by this weekend.”

Customers whose meters normally would have been read this week will begin
receiving their bills early next week. The bill will indicate whether the reading is an
actual or estimated reading.

Customers whose meter readings are estimated will be read next month and any
discrepancy will be “trued-up”.

Customers who receive an estimated bill and have questions about the estimate should call PSO’s Customer Solutions Center at 1-888-216-3523.
