Whitt Tabbed Track and Field Male Athlete of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Oral Roberts freshman Jack Whitt was named the Summit League Track and Field Male Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Whitt captures his first Athlete of the Week award in the outdoor season and third overall this year after earning a fourth-place finish in the pole vault at the prestigious Texas Relays over the weekend. Whitt soared to a regional-qualifying height of 5.41 meters, which currently ranks fourth nationally and first in The Summit League by more than 0.60 meters.
The Golden Eagles return to action this weekend at the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
