On their 2011 summer tour, celebrating 25 years as a band, Widespread Panic will be playing in Tulsa, OK at The Brady Theater on Sunday, June 19.
As part of the year long 25th Anniversary celebration, Widespread Panic will headline the Bonnaroo Music Festival on June 12. The band will also be returning to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a three-night stand, where they hold the attendance record with 35 sellouts. Panic will also be playing back-to-back nights in Los Angeles, Oakland and Las Vegas.
Earlier this year, in February, Widespread Panic kicked off their 25th Anniversary year by returning to the site of their first-ever performance where they played two shows in their hometown of Athens, GA. Following the shows on February 15, the State of Georgia’s House of Representatives and Senate passed resolutions in honor of the band’s 25 years of music, service, charity and longevity. Members of Widespread Panic stood on the floor of the House and were recognized before The General Assembly, followed by an acoustic performance for all in attendance. The band recently made their first appearance at the Music Conference in Austin, TX where they performed at the first-ever combined showcase and Austin City Limits television taping, which will air later this year (date ).
Stronger than ever after 25 years, Widespread Panic remain one of the top touring acts in the US. The band continues to play to packed arena, amphitheater and festival crowds, setting attendance records throughout the country.
