Winterset 2011 Benefits EIS, Meals on Wheels

GREAT TRADITION: As the premier event of the Osteopathic Founders Foundation, Winterset combines a party with charitable support. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit two very deserving charities. From left are Drs. Patti and Brian Chalkin (event Chairs), Eileen Bradshaw (EIS) and Dan Rabovsky and Stacie Wilson (Meals on Wheels).
Winterset 2011 is expected to be an unforgettable evening again this year. Always one of the top events in greater Tulsa, Winterset will be held Feb. 26 at the Doubletree Hotel at Warren Place. Organizers say it is a night of fabulous food and drink, exceptional prizes and entertainment with dancing the night away.
As the premier event of the Osteopathic Founders Foundation, Winterset is not only a wonderful party, but an opportunity to continue the Founder’s tradition of charitable support. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit two very deserving charities. Through Winterset grants, Emergency Infant Services will provide infant formula and food to families in economic crisis and Meals on Wheels will provide meals to Tulsa’s most vulnerable elderly, homebound citizens.
Phil Long, Winterset’s Event Producer for the last 13 years, has designed an unforgettable evening for guests.
The evening will be beautiful, elegant and will have a deco charm utilizing tones of silver and gold with chic topiaries with special lighting. Back by popular demand, the Stars Band will provide the dance music and there will also be some new surprises for this year. Another highlight will be the presentation of the Foundation’s Outstanding Physician of the Year award.
Winterset runs from 6:30 to midnight. Cocktails begin at 6:30 with dinner following at 7:30.
